Balancing Free Time and Homework

Thornhill TutoringBalancing free time and homework can be tricky, especially when the sunny weather starts to take over. Students often become easily distracted during this time as playing outdoors and socializing seems more appealing then staying indoors to complete homework. In this case, arrange a fair schedule for the number of hours that should be spent doing homework each evening and over the weekend. This should also be proportionate to the extent of work assigned. For instance, if the student comes home with a book report and science project, they may only be able to have half hour of television or social media time for that day.

Of course, this situation becomes even harder, when the student is not receiving enough homework from school. This further encourages the student to loose focus as they are not practicing the skills and concepts acquired from school. To prevent this problem, you should collect educational resources to keep your child on track. You may refer to various government-based websites, which provide homework such as Finally, there is also the option of Thornhill Tutoring to help keep children on a regimented program and develop their skills.

You are right! Balancing free time and school work is difficult. Even students in college are bad at this. School can be pretty demanding as well, so students always end up stressed and tired when doing homework, writing projects, and reports. Your tips are helpful, though sometimes external factors like being lazy, or any personal matters happens.
