Effective Research Skills

Students that are researchingDeveloping effective research skills can be a tricky task. When gathering information for a project or paper, the student must learn to categorize notes. This means that each segment of information must be placed under a subtopic or category. For instance, if a student is creating a research assignment on whales, they must separate information relating to habitat, diet, life cycle, ect. This will make the writing process easier as the student can refer to each section in order to build paragraphs.
